The Griffith University Medicine Society (GUMS) Alumni Conference Reimbursement Scheme was established to support Griffith medical students who are seeking to broaden their medical education and professional development through attendance at national and international conferences. Conferences provide invaluable opportunities for students to engage with emerging research, develop clinical insight, network with peers and senior clinicians, and represent Griffith University within the wider medical community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Recognising that the cost of conference registration, travel, and accommodation can create significant financial barriers for students, this reimbursement scheme aims to ease part of that burden and improve accessibility to these important educational experiences.
