How to access the GSafe incident management system

ATTENTION STUDENTS

GUMS wishes to provide some information on behalf of the University in response to concerns raised from Medicine students on hospital placement regarding security incidents that have occurred.

Should an incident, hazard, injury, illness or “near miss” occur please find the following information on how to access the GSafe incident management reporting system via the Health, Safety & Wellbeing (HSW) website link: https://www.griffith.edu.au/student-staff/health-safety-wellbeing.

Please do not hesitate to contact any of the GUMS Team should you have any concerns.

Step 2. The icons below (also on the main page) contain the relevant Health, Safety & Wellbeing information, documents and forms.

Step 3. Access to GSafe is gained through the below link, which is located on the bottom of each page of the website. This will ask you to log into your student account before entering the system.

Step 4. The Access GSafe here link will take you to the main page. Select: Incident/Hazard Reporting.

Step 5. Select either Option 1 (to report an incident, injury, illness or near miss) or Option 2 (to report a hazard).

You can also download the Griffith App (https://www.griffith.edu.au/mobile/griffith-app). Security is confined to each of the Griffith University campuses.
